Claudia Juestel, founder and principal of Adeeni Design Group, creates lasting interiors that are inspired by their owners’ unique sensibilities. First and foremost an artist, she has a deep understanding of historic and modern architecture.
Her European upbringing amongst a family of artists, craftsmen and musicians, and her passion for art, fine living, and travel have given her a broad sensibility that is infused with exoticism and subtle eccentricities. She has designed projects all over the Bay Area, also in Carmel, Palms Springs, Portland, OR, London, England, New Delhi, India and on Guam, in styles ranging from the decidedly traditional to the definitely modern.
Adeeni is a Yoruba word meaning “royal people”, which seemed a fitting name for a company owned by someone who believes in making your home your castle, and that every client should be treated like royalty.
Adeeni Design Group is a full-service design firm specializing in residential and small commercial interiors. As part of the company’s guiding business principles, Adeeni Design Group continues to give back to the community, hosting yearly internships with rising interior design students, mentoring high school students, and playing an active role in fundraising events such as Elle Decor’s “Dining by Design,” a benefit for DIFFA. Claudia Juestel also sits on the board of CARE THROUGH ACTION.

BRIAN DITTMAR DESIGN is a creative studio providing services for interior and exterior spaces. For more than 15 years, Brian has strongly focused on creating well turned-out, timelessly livable environments which most importantly reflect each client’s life and style.
Brian’s design aesthetic and approach to the process are heavily influenced by his long-time passion for art and architecture. From a young age, he honed his interest in classical furniture and furnishings, specifically grandfather clocks, by exploring the world-renowned collections of the Wintherthur Museum, near his childhood home in Wilmington, Delaware. While still in high school, he apprenticed for a kitchen design firm where he managed his first kitchen renovation project.
Brian has appeared on HGTV and his work has been featured in San Francisco Chronicle, California Home + Design and Home. Also a graphic designer, he has worked for clients including Stanford University, Chronicle Books and Lincoln Center. Most recently he art directed the design blog The Style Saloniste. He lives in San Francisco with his partner, Paul, and their pug, Moe, whose constant fur-shedding has become Brian’s most challenging design-around.

Candace Barnes is a nationally recognized designer and antiquarian with a beautiful showroom in the design center of San Francisco, which showcases mostly 18th century through 21st century continental antiques, along with her own furniture line. The juxtaposition of these items creates a unique look and “signature style” which has been most recently recognized by receiving the award from California Home and Design magazine for the best showcase room in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase House of 2008.
Candace has a degree in Interior Design/Architecture from Syracuse University so is able to create interiors from structural renovations through to a fully realized beautiful customized interior. She has had many illustrious clients and worked with them to create individual expressions unique to them. Having been the designer for HGTV’s “Curb Appeal” where she was able to use her abilities with landscape design and exterior color, she brings a complete talent to any project.

Joel Robare is the owner and Principal Designer of JR Studio Design, an interior architecture and design collaborative creating inspired environments for living and working. JR Studio Design employs a life+style driven approach to client projects, creating interiors that are both deeply personal and highly functional. Accordingly, Joel first takes the time to fully understand each client’s individual needs and style preferences through interviewing and coaching exercises. The results are then applied to develop interiors that are a true expression of each client’s unique point-of-view, even if their particular preference was unscripted at the start! Joel’s favorite quote is, “Truly successful design speaks to the soul through the eyes.” He has taken this to heart, expertly combining his client’s own furnishings with inspired new accompaniments. The results? Creative environments that are fresh yet familiar to the people they envelope and a pleasure to the senses! His interiors are described as inspired, sophisticated, eclectic and “comfortably artistic.”
JR Studio handles comprehensive design services, short term consultations with trade-only pricing privileges, custom fabrications and interior remodeling in the Bay Area and Chicago. Joel’s has an academic background in business management, interior architecture and fine art and he personally enjoys adventure travel and culinary exploration.
