Program Content and Attendance Continue Growth Momentum into Summer

Welcome to the June edition of LuxeSF Magazine. It is my pleasure to report that as summer fully begins, Council membership, program attendance and community recognition are burgeoning with even increased excitement.

Program Content Inspires and Informs

An outstanding May event aboard the San Francisco Spirit, featuring an expert panel discussing marketing opportunities within the gay and lesbian luxury segment, was a tremendous success. Members report they took away new insights and actionable information about a consumer group that is affluent beyond the mainstream norm, highly attuned to luxury purchasing, and exceptionally loyal to those marketers who earn its trust. The information was compelling and relevant because it came from presenters who spoke as marketing experts as well as members of the gay and lesbian communities. See who was there.

June Program Promises to be a Blockbuster

The Council’s next event on June 21st (click here for details) is already shaping up to be another blockbuster with RSVPs arriving at record rate. A panel of top producers from six of the Bay Area’s leading luxury real estate firms will dissect today’s marketplace and discuss what it takes to be successful in selling to the luxury home buyer.

Welcome to Our Newest Members

On the membership front, we are delighted to announce that seven new members joined the Council recently, including interior design leaders Ambiance Interiors and Gaul Searson, prominent real estate company, Frank Howard Allen Realtors, D & M Holdings, parent company of such high-end audiophile brands as Denon and Marantz, Shop America Tours, the national leader in travel shopping, Dynamic Funds Management, Marin's respected investment advisory firm, and J Vineyards & Winery, creator of world-class wines.

LuxeSF Magazine Continues Refinement, Adds Content Breadth

As you can see from this edition of LuxeSF, we are continuing to refine the design, content and features. The popular Member Profile series features Hal Oates of Porthos on the subject of unearthing hidden wine treasures. The News and Research sections carry must-read information and trends. And the 2006 Program calendar has been updated with the latest information and dates for upcoming Council events. More important, in this edition we commence a program that will feature unique offers from our members for our members. This month, our friends at Auberge Resorts are issuing a special invitation to their luxurious Esperanza Resort in Los Cabos (see details). If a vacation is on your horizon, this is an offer that cannot be overlooked.

It's reassuring to see that San Francisco is waking up to the massive potential of the luxury marketplace and to the Council's growing influence within that community. Excellent articles appeared recently in our member publication 7x7 Magazine and in the San Francisco Chronicle. We encourage you to read both in the new Luxe Press section.

Founding Membership Inagural Offer Ends June 30th

Finally, we will soon be restricting readership of LuxeSF to members only. As we end the inaugural, one-time offer of Founding Membership on June 30th, only members will have access to certain password-protected sections of the magazine. To quote Council member American Express, "Membership does have its privileges."

We look forward to seeing you on June 21st.

Cordially,

Alf Nucifora
Chairman, The Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco
