A panel of designers, creative specialists and taste arbiters meet with Council members and guests to tell what it is, how it's done and who does it best.

Council members and guests gathered to take an in-depth look on the subject of “how-to-give” and “how-to-receive” in the demanding field of not-for-profit fund-raising and cause marketing, and learn how both the affluent individual and the corporation are wooed by the best fund-raisers in the business. Panelists included Chip Conley, Founder and CEO, Joie de Vivre Hospitality; Marianne G. Briscoe, Ph.D., President and Managing Director Brakeley Briscoe Inc.; Thomas Peters, Ph.D., Marin Community Foundation and Amory Sharpe, Deputy Director of Development and Director of Institutional Partnerships, Asian Art Museum.
