Allan Wasserman is Executive Vice President and Western United States Group President Stewart Title Guaranty Company directly overseeing the states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, and the territories of Guam and Saipan from 1997-2006.  He is also responsible for the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountain States for Stewart Title.  Allan served as President and State Manager of Stewart Title of California, Inc., when the 12 independent corporations that comprised Stewart’s representation in California were merged into one entity. He has aggressively pursued company growth efforts that have brought Stewart into greater prominence in the State of California and Nationally.

Prior to 1997, Allan served as Senior Vice President and National Underwriting Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty. He has been in the title industry for 30 years, 16 of which are with Stewart. Allan is a past President of the California Land Title Association and currently sits on its Executive Committee.

Allan earned his BA from San Diego State University in 1975 and his Juris Doctorate from Western State University School of Law in 1980. He has served as Chairman of the Real Property and the Legislative Sections of the San Diego County Bar Association, and as the association’s Chairman to the California State Bar Conference of Delegates. Allan is a member of Lambda Alpha, a nationally recognized real estate fraternity.  In addition, Allan is a Rotary International, San Diego Chapter member and a current member of the BIG 50, a fund raising arm of SDSU.  He is a frequent speaker at seminars and conventions and has lectured at many continuing education programs for the California Bar Association on escrow and title insurance subjects and sits on a number of Title Insurance Boards throughout California and the Western US.
